COLLEGE - An insight into my everyday college life ...
Hey lovelies .
So as my first lifestyle post I’ am going to talk about something that is keeping me extremely occupied at the moment ( hence I've not been blogging as much - sad face ) : college - where I go , what I study and why I chose to study it and my experience so far .
Okay , so as many of you may already know I study fashion design and usually when I tell people this , there reaction follows with a 'and'? , but no there is no ‘and’ . The course that I’ am studying is an extended diploma In fashion design , that is worth three a-levels , so the same as if i went into the academic route .
Of course fashion had always been a passion for me , but i didn't actually know that I wanted to Peruse a career and so soon , in it - it was only after year 11 work experience so In December that it actually hit me , about just how much I would love it . However making this decision was far from easy for me , their were literally about 10 people ( including friends ) that supported me , others were so critical about how ' fashion design is not a real job ' , even teachers said to me , ' don't put all your eggs in one basket ' and your capable of so much more ' - i mean what is that even supposed to mean , it's a passion and a dream of mine and they just sort of degraded that . Also it wasn't the career choice that left people with these reactions , it was more the course ( just fashion ) and the college ( Leicester college ) , which I love , but see Leicester college because of it being a course based college is sort of degraded by people , and so people would instantly think that I’am underachieving , or that I’am not as capable which is why I’am choosing Leicester college , and that effected me ever so much , I was so close to not even doing fashion any more , but then somehow , amongst the negativity , I just did and I put that on my application and away if went , and I have to say , I’am so thankful that this was the decision I made , because I absolutely love the course , it's so me and oh it's just amazing ( you get the point ) .
Moreover , my experience so far with college have taught me that it's so different to school , and for those at you still at school , take it from someone who's left - make the most of every second you have , because your best years are at high school and there's no doubt of that . In college , you have to be so independent , ( errm thinking of an example ) , I can't really seem to explain but it's crazy independent . Its such a huge transformation from high school , and although slowly I’ am kind off loving the independence , and getting used to it , and no matter how much I love the course , high school is high school and think a part of me is always going to miss , the attachment that you have with the teachers , and being able connect with the school like it's your own , because you don't have that at college - like not at all .
Okay think Iam getting way too emotional there , but shout out to Crown hills ( my high school - well not exactly ' mine any more but ya knaww ) . Moreover , college comes with a huge work load , and you have to keep on top of all your work and just really be organised .
So guys that's the end of that . You know what I really enjoyed writing that and ill know ill enjoy it even more because I feel like if allows me to really express my views . I really hope you enjoyed that guys and thank you for reading .

the Asian Bride show live - London
Hey beauties ,
i hope your all well . So this week we made a trip down to the capital ( yes again ) . However this was not a 'chilling/shopping' outing , it was actually far from that , the day was extremely busy and spent at 'the olympia' for the asian bride show , which we visted as my aunty ( whos more like a sister to me) is getting married and needed some inspiration for her 'walimah' ( post wedding celebrations ) as ; as opposed to the actual wedding day she is planning to go indian raher then english . Anyway , the event was huge , giving alot of insight into wedding do' s and dont' s both for the actual bride / groom , and family members , aswell as inspiration on ways to balance a modern but traditional wedding . Ofcourse i took various snapshots to share with you guys - some from the exclusive fashion show and others from the inspiration that was around :

The events showcase latest fashion, beauty and music trends on large and often interactive features and stands .Apart from hosting a grand fashion show there are also various stalls – both fashion and beauty based . Of course me being me took various pictures of both the fashion show and the outlet section itself , and thought I would share it with you guys !! So here we go :
