The 'Trench' diaries
Hey beauties. Welcome to this blog. Todays blog is on a rather outgoing look , than the previous ‘casual’ look and I have to say , when styling this I wasn’t quite sure about it , as often I’ve seen trench coats like this worn with very dark colored jeans , but of course me being me , wanted to try out something different and so I did , and it didn’t look that bad . Okay enough with the small talk, lets get started !
This trench coat , is one of my faves and I actually purchased this just after winter , so approaching spring and still hadn’t worn it , so I thought I must before summer comes approaching , but I actually found that its made of cotton and so its lightweight and cool and so its actually not like a ‘coat’ at all but more like a long ‘cardigan’ so yippee I can wear it in summer too . Also I love the color – its like a really light cream just about going on to white , as I think this allows it to be thrown on with any kind of outfit – even light blue jeans and oh yea it can be worn modestly too .
The jeans , as can be seen are ankle grazers which I absolutely love as I just think it makes them look so much more different however when I bought these I found they were waist height – something I am not quite fond of and so I wasn’t as keen on wearing them , but I did absolutely love the color so I had to make an exception . Also , honestly these are the comfiest jeans ever ( as are all Topshop jeans ) and you can literally do anything in them .
The t-shirt I have styled this with is actually one of my faves because its all made of leather which I think makes it so different , however the only downside is that despite it being a t-shirt it makes you really hot , because firstly its black – absorber of heat and its leather – which is known as one of the thickest fabrics , so we have that their – but I guess everything cant be perfect .
The shoes , are buckle up heeled sandals . Now sandals are something I don’t often wear - I only have this pair and one more ( if I remember correctly) but I really do like these because firstly their so comfortable , and secondly because they look quite good with ‘outgoing’ outfits ( kind off jazzes them up) .
And oh yea guys , see I changed my hijab – although I went for the usual ‘black’ so I don’t know if it counts , but hey I am getting there .
