Sophisticated Much ? ... Erm Maybe ?
Hey Girl hey . So this blog post is on a look that has become extremely widespread – a sophisticated yet unpremeditated look, and so I thought why not give it a try .
Okay so to begin with , the center of this look is of course the extremely eye catching long white waistcoat with a blazer-ous touch to it – Something I really like about as it kinda adds in an extra feature which allows it to be styled in a very sophisticated way but also allows one to touch the casualness of it . Another thing that I absolutely love about it is the fact that it allows us to close it and keep it open – as most waistcoats I’ve seen are open only which ones again adds in styling options. Furthermore, I also fell for the D-ring belt that it has added on to it, as again it adds on a feature that is quite trendy in fashion today and as can be seen it also has a slit to it – once again following the extreme trend arising today . So if your looking for a extremely trendy and feature-ous long waistcoat I would definitely recommend this one .
Moving on , as can be seen I styled this with a blue oversized shirt and avoided the usual black top underneath , but thought the blue shirt will make it somewhat different and although make it way more sophisticated the oversize bit of it will add in the casualness . Also I thought that the shirt will hugely compliment the blazer effect of the waistcoat .
Moreover I went for the common black jeans with a white waistcoat, as I felt this just gave it a simple finish, and to compliment this I went for the pointed lace ups , however with this look it really just depends on where your going – you can style it with heels , pumps or even sandals .
Additionally for this I have to say I was sort off stuck on what hijab to wear and chose this amazing two toned and printed hijab which is not only eye-catching but holds a rather different material ( one that is twill woven instead of a usual plain weave ) , which makes it different in that way . Also this hijab compliments not only the white waistcoat but the black jeans and shoes as well .
Lastly, for the finishing touches I added in a few bits of accessories to jazz up the outfit – The bag : I went for a contrasting color to what I was wearing as I thought this would outline it , as often people go for the matching bag option .
Jewelry : With this I felt a necklace was rather necessary because of the shirt , and went for a simple watch following a simple ring .
And oh yea , I added in these amazing rounded (& extremely affordable - £1.50) sunnies , to finish it off as a summers look .
